our lovely hostel in london
trafalger square
i look like i had to pee...but at the time i thought it would be a good idea to pretend to sit on a lawn chair...near buckingham palace in london
i love trees...even fake ones. london.
some random grafitti in bristolaha i'm so back to my old self. canthelp but put up more pictures just cause i had so much fun in europe. i miss my friends!
toronto is actually quite nice despite ttc strike and crazy weather plus smog. i enjoy cheap and good food and cultural diversity. work has been great! although i can tell you i've never slacked so much. here's a myth that's SOOO not true. When i worked at the government i always got made fun of for leaving at 5pm. now i leave at 4pm. aha and here's a thing i learn from the corporate world: don't do other people's job even if you're just trying to be nice. you will be labelled as the person who's trying to steal other people's job.
here's how you look busy: open up a document. add a bracket anywhere in the document. delete the bracket. scroll down. scroll up. repeat.
my supervisor is sooo much fun tho. she's got 1000 olive trees and sells olive oil and cookie dough on the side. she works crazy hours like 5am to 1pm. casual fridays are also not very casuals...i had to learn it the hard way.
anyway, here's some pics.

You don't really complain about food prices anymore once you've been to the EU (Expensive Union). At least, I know I haven't.
I just tacked up a post about the Turf Tavern on my blog..
Definitely good times were had by many at that establishment...
And yeah, when you have to bill hours (like I'd imagine you would, where you are working), definitely don't steal someone else's hours. Only do so if they ask you to help.
olive trees, eh? i like her already. :)
jay: no i don't bill hours...which is sad because i should. it would make me work harder.
rho: i heard about your oxford interview!! if you want some organic greek olive oil, let me know.
Did you become an alcoholic while you were in Europe?
I suppose if you did, it couldn't be helped, since it is cheaper to have beverages of that nature, compared to water....
